Created in 1970, Acting for Life is a not-for-profit organization whose vocation is to establish links and build bridges between "rich" and "poor" in every country, including in the "South", to help everyone who has fallen to stand up again so that they can stay in control of their own existence and their own development every step of the way.

Action contre la Faim intervenes in the following situations:

  • In natural or man-made disaster that threatens food security or that results in famine;
  • In situations of social/economic breakdown, linked to internal or external circumstances that place groups of people in extremely vulnerable positions;
  • In situations where survival depends on humanitarian aid.

Aina facilitates initiatives in the area of education, information and communication for and with the support of local actors by rallying high-skilled international volunteers and local experts. Its mission is to foster the democratization process and to take part in the building or rebuilding of civil society in countries where it operates.

ASMAE - Association Sœur Emmanuelle is an international NGO devoted to children. Independent, secular and apolitical, ASMAE is open to all. ASMAE’s actions support the most underprivileged children, helping them to gain autonomy through education, healthcare and psychosocial assistance. ASMAE is active in 9 countries on 3 continents: Egypt, Lebanon, Sudan, Mali, Philippines, Madagascar, India, Burkina Faso, and France.

The International Movement ATD Fourth World is a non-governmental organization with no religious or political affiliation which engages with individuals and institutions to find solutions to eradicate extreme poverty. Working in partnership with people in poverty, ATD Fourth World’s human rights-based approach focuses on supporting families and individuals through its grass-roots presence and involvement in disadvantaged communities, in both urban and rural areas, creating public awareness of extreme poverty and influencing policies to address it.
