This will reduce inconsistencies, thereby improving the quality of translations. Multilingual glossaries could be contributed by some\u00a0terminology-addicted translator as part of the volunteer work performed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">Users with an\u00a0NGO client administrator profile\u00a0can upload files that will be available on all active jobs for the client. To do so,\u00a0\u00a0go to the profile icon in the upper-right corner of all pages, select &#8216;Business settings&#8217; and then &#8216;File manager&#8217; in the left side menu.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Translate API now available<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">A new feature is available on the Translators without Borders Translation Workspace powered by ProZ.com. Humanitarian organizations with adequate technical expertise can now integrate their own software with\u00a0ours\u00a0in a way that helps automate the translation process.\u00a0The new &#8220;Translate API&#8221; can be used to send text or documents to the platform for translation, and then to route the translated work back to your system when it&#8217;s complete.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">More information can be found in the Translation Center, by clicking in a dedicated menu option in the top\u00a0dropdown\u00a0menu. The API is currently experimental. Humanitarian organizations that are interested in trying it out should contact us at <a href=\"mailto:translation-center-support@proz.com\">translation-center-support@proz.com<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>New\u00a0&#8216;post-assignment instructions&#8217; field<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">A new field has been added to the form used for the creation of new work orders.\u00a0 Labelled &#8216;Post-assignment instructions&#8217;, it is\u00a0located below the &#8216;Notes or special instructions&#8217; field.\u00a0Instructions posted in this new field will only be shown to the assigned translator(s) after acceptance, while those posted in the &#8216;Notes or special instructions&#8221; field are visible to all notified translators.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-256\" alt=\"'Post-assignment instructions' field\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/translatorswithoutborders.org\/twbnewsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TWB_New_WO_instructions-240x155.png?resize=530%2C342\" width=\"530\" height=\"342\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">This feature is being used by a Humanitarian Organization that has their own translation platform and that post part of their translation needs in the TWB Workspace. They are now using this new field to\u00a0let the translator know how to access the file for translation in their platform, and the task is marked as complete once it was completed there. Other creative uses are possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Video on the screening platform<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">A brief video explaining our translator quality assessment tool can be viewed here <a href=\"http:\/\/www.proz.com\/screening-center-intro\/\">http:\/\/www.proz.com\/screening-center-intro\/.<\/a>\u00a0This tool enables us to objectively\u00a0review test translations\u00a0by Translators without Borders volunteers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">The reviewers operating in the screening center are not visible to the public, but they make an amazing contribution to Translators without Borders by activating the main mechanism used for bringing new volunteer translators to the TWB operation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>New control panel for the Wikipedia project<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">A new control panel has been created for the Wikipedia project at <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/a\/proz.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1cb80jUe-tObwbTo-o4hh2IpcQHSv1TAJh-8vuniNsCs\/edit?pli=1#gid=1780120699\">https:\/\/docs.google.com\/a\/proz.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1cb80jUe-tObwbTo-o4hh2IpcQHSv1TAJh-8vuniNsCs\/edit?pli=1#gid=1780120699<\/a>\u00a0This new panel includes automatic statistics on subject matters (articles and summaries) and also on target languages.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Remember the upper-right corner<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">It is important to remember the very important resources that can be found in the upper-right corner of all pages in the translation center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/translatorswithoutborders.org\/twbnewsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TWB_Upper_left_corner.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-257\" alt=\"Upper-Right corner\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/translatorswithoutborders.org\/twbnewsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TWB_Upper_left_corner-240x134.png?resize=530%2C294\" width=\"530\" height=\"294\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">A drop-down menu allows users to\u00a0view and edit their profile, and to log-out from the platform.
