09 March 2018 – Translation, localization and testing partner, Moravia, has today released a list of nine ‘Women to watch’ in the localization industry.
Translators without Borders (TWB) is proud to note that not only does the list highlight two TWB board members, Donna Parrish and Iris Orriss, and TWB’s founder, Lori Thicke, but also a number of thought leaders who have contributed time and effort to TWB and share our vision of making vital information available for people in a language they truly understand and a format they can access.
As always, and especially in light of yesterday’s International Women’s Day, Translators without Borders is pleased to recognize those who share a vision of striving towards a world where knowledge knows no language barriers. The organization is glad to acknowledge that “These women, passionate about removing language barriers through translation, interpretation, and localization, have an undeniably strong voice in our industry.” Lee Densmer, Moravia Global Blog: 9 Strong Female Voices in the Localization Industry.
