Translators without Borders has worked with the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) to help prevent sexual exploitation and abuse in humanitarian contexts. Together we have created a plain language version of the principles, and we are now translating them into 100-plus languages. In September 2019 Principle #4 was amended. We are working with IASC to develop a new plain language version of the amendment and to update the translations. At present, the translations represent the previous version of that principle. We look forward to bringing the updated versions to you soon.
For now, we do have the updated versions in the following languages: Albanian, Bulgarian, English, German, Hungarian, Romanian, Russian, Seraiki, Sindhi, and Ukrainian.
